Biography

Bev is a an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor and is an accredited member of the UKCP.

Over the last 15 years, Bev has provided therapy to people with complex and enduring mental health problems in the NHS/Charity sector and also works with private clients.

With experience working with a wide range of problems, Bev draws from several different therapeutic approaches including: Psychodynamic, CBT, DBT and Sensori-Motor Psychotherapy.  She will carry out an in depth assessment to help identify your key issues, so your therapy can be tailored to your individual needs.   She is experienced in working with depression, anxiety, phobias, OCD, eating and personality disorders.   She specialises in treating trauma, complex trauma and PTSD using body- focused therapy.

She offers counselling/psychotherapy in a confidential setting where you are free to talk without fear of rejection, criticism or blame.  Her aim is to help people acquire the resources and skills needed to manage any future stresses and destabilising events that might arise in life.

BSc. Hons. Psychology

MA Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Certificate in Counselling
