Erin is a fully qualified integrative counsellor, registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and works with adults.

As an integrative counsellor, Erin provides a safe, confidential space for clients to talk openly and freely about whatever has been happening in their lives, past or present, which is causing distress. Erin’s main counselling approach is founded on Person Centred Therapy in which she offers, empathy, acceptance, and genuine care and compassion to clients. She works to understand the client’s experience and to support clients on their journey towards greater self-acceptance, self-compassion and understanding of themselves.

Erin has significant experience working with bereavement and loss, trauma and abuse and relationship issues through her role with a local charity which provides counselling to NHS clients. As she has been trained as an Integrative counsellor, she can incorporate other therapeutic approaches such as CBT and Psychodynamic approaches, to support individual client needs. She can provide long term and short-term therapy and has experience of working with a diverse client range, including diverse gender and sexual identities. (LGBTQ+ affirming counsellor).

Qualifications & Experience

Advanced Diploma (Level 5) in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling

NCFE CACHE Levels 1 and 2 Certificates in Counselling Skills and Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills

BA (Hons) Education

Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
